General description

Concept of land management. Land resources. Land relations. Land as an object of land management. Land Readjustment Act. Re-productivity of soils, land use planning. Land valuation. Land readjustment design, plans. Activity of a land consolidator. Environmental protection. The overview of land information systems. Administration of land resources and information, necessary for it. The notion, essence and types of a cadastre. Components of the land cadastre, cadastral institutions. The notion and content of immobilization. Land Register. Procedure of immobilization, land register, the content and its keeping procedure. Cadastre relatedness with other information systems.

General aim

The objective of the course is to give the students an overview about the land reform, land valuation and land readjustment activities as well as to introduce the activity of a consolidator on different levels. General Objectives:
The objective is to give an overview of the Land Cadastre Act, land cadastre and other registers as well as possibilities to make inquiries from the respective databases.

Aim

Having passed the course the student knows land readjustment activities and the stages of their implementation. The student has to understand what the work assignments of a land consolidator are on different levels. Learning Outcomes: The student, who has passed the course, must know the Land Cadastre and the legislation, related to it. S/he must also know other registers (Land Register, Register of Construction Works) and must be able to make inquiries from the Land Board public services data bases-registers

Evaluation methods

For the assessment two written test is used. In order to take the tests students must take part in practical work. After passing the course positively (graded at least by “2”, satisfactory) the course is considered as passed.
