Subject 'Engineering Practice'Name in Estonian: Inseneripraktika
General descriptionFor engineering practice, the student has to work either in a construction company or in a geodesy company in the position requiring geodetic engineer education. The student is allowed to to proceed with the practice if he/she has a maximum of 15 ECTS credits due. The engineering practice ends with an engineering exam (graded as pass/fail). The student is allowed to the exam only if he/she has defended the engineering practice report and has no debts from the 1.-3. year subjects.
General aimThe objective is to deepen the theoretical knowledge and to improve practical skills in the field of geodetic engineering in the practice company.
AimHaving passed the engineering practice successfully, the student:
1. knows the structure and financial-economic organisation of the company; 2. is able to carry out geodetic work; 3. can organize geodetic works on site; 4. commands communication skills and IT-technologies, necessary for work. Form descriptionPractical training
