General description

Solid Edge designing environments.
Registration and drawing manufacturing in 2-d environment.
Modelling in 3-d environment: ledges, apertures and deepenings, carving elements.
Rotary bodies. Definition of capacity and weight of models.
Drawings of the made models (kinds, cuts, dimensioning, surface processings).
Model manufacturing under the drawing.
Modelling in the environment of sheet metal. Development. Modelling in the environment of assemblage, communications in assemblage. Assembly drawing and specification registration.

General aim

The aim of the course is providing primary knowledge to accomplish technical drawings of machine building with Solid Edge tools.

Aim

Student having passed the course: is able to execute technical drawings on computer with Solid Edge tools, and knows how to print out drawings; is able to accomplish working drawings of details in 2-D (Draft); is able to make models of various machine building details with 3-D modelling tool (including making the detail models from sheetmetal in sheetmetal treatment environment), to process them and to make working drawings of 3-D models; is able to accomplish 3-D models of various easier assemblies with creating necessary interrelationships between details in assembly environment, and to make their assembly drawings in projection environment.
