1. Introduction - entrepreneurship, entrepreneur, entrepreneurial mindset, business environment, enterprises
2. History and development of entrepreneurship, different forms of enterprises and financing possibilities
3. Business idea, business model ja strategical planning
4. Business plan - structure, etc
5. Market-, competition- and client analysis
6. Value proposition and product`s marketing process (4P, 7P), marketing communication
7. Management and personnel development
8. Financial planning ana -analysis

General aim

The aim of the course:
The aim of the course is to develop entrepreneurial skills, knowledge and attitudes, in order to implement those skills in specific field of business as an entrepreneur, in project groups, or as a mid-level manager in an organization.

Aim

1. Student is able to evaluate options to work as an entrepreneur or an employee, and is able to work as a team member.
2. Student is able to create and communicate an innovation or business plan related to his/her specialty.
3. Student is familiar with business environment and has the training to act ethically as an entrepreneur.
4. Student is able to act according to set goals and understands the importance of objectives regardless of obstacles.

Form description

Experiential learning (is a form of active learning, which allows reaching conclusions and theories through experiencing real-life situations similar to professional lives, and through their subsequent analysis).

Students must be prepared for active participation during the tutorials as well as during the team-work, and also be prepared to take the responsibility for their own learning. This means that the learning form experienced is not traditional lecturing and test evaluation, but new knowledge is constructed in collaboration with other students and therefore assessed formatively, requiring everyone’s contribution to learning activities.
