General descriptionArt historical overview about the development and processes in art history from pre-historic drawings up to Baroque paintings and sculpture (pre-historic cave paintings and statuettes. Mesopotamian, Egyptian, Cretan-Mycenae and Greece fine art. Etruscan and Roman fine art. Medieval sculpture and mural paintings. Fine art in the time of Renaissance and Baroque.
General aimThe aim of the course is to provide basic knowledge in the history of art based on main trends of cultural development of mankind.
AimStudents having completed the course have acquired deep knowledge in history of art.
