General description

The history of architecture (part II) gives the overview about the history of architecture from the early Christian time up to the end of Medieval time (Early Christian architecture. Byzantine architecture. Old Russian architecture, Romanian and Gothic styles). The Estonian medieval architecture.

General aim

The course is a link between various subjects of applied architecture which helps to acquire logical understanding and development of buildings.

Aim

Student after completing the course has acquired in-depth knowledge in the history of architecture and art.
