Subject 'Descriptive Geometry and Technical Drawing'Name in Estonian: Kujutav geomeetria ja joonestamine
General descriptionDeveloping the knowledge and proficiency of execution of special technical drawings. Ways of representation, execution of technical drawings, dimensioning. Rough drawing. Differences of construction drawings. Technical drawings of general construction: plans, sections, elevations, units. How to use ISO Standards which regulate construction drawings. Orthgraphic projection, axonometric images, constructions of perspectives and shadows.
General aimAcquiring knowledge and proficiency to accomplish architectural-constructional (technical) drawings. Developing three-dimensional thinking and acquiring the rules how to express spatial objects on two-dimensional drawings.
AimStudents having passed the course are able to accomplish technical drawings of general construction. Skills to express spatial objects on two-dimensional drawings.
