General description

Explaining in deep the principles of environmental monitoring, connection with research and inventory valuations. Environmental protection, among it environmental monitoring related legislation and international conventions. Estonian National Environment Monitoring Programme. Environmental permit information system (basis: data of national, local and enterprise self-monitoring).

General aim

The objective of the course is to give an overview of the essence of environmental monitoring, related legislation and to introduce different monitoring programmes.
