The philosophical and natural scientific aspects of environmental ethics. Forming and developing value attitudes. Nature preservation related and regulatory ideas. Environmental education and training. The issue of nature as a value itself. Environmental ethics and the ethics of an economical society. The balance between the man and nature – the principle of sustainability. Environmental protection, legislation, and policy. International regulatory acts, environmental awareness.

The objective of the course is philosophical and natural scientific aspects of environmental ethics.

Student:
- knows philosophies and natural scientific viewpoints of environmental ethics;
- can give assessments to situations.
