General aim

To give the students an overview of warehouses, warehousing, warehousing operations, the strategy of warehouse inventory management.

Aim

A student
- knows the reasons and requirements of warehousing, can plan the supplies, is familiar with information system;
- knows different warehouse operations, ways of warehousing, can effectively organise work in the warehouse;
- knows warehouse technology and warehousing systems;
- can effectively organise the warehousing process.

Applying theory in practice ( laboratory of logistics).
Practicing effective handling of goods, using warehous technology.
Solving practical tasks.
Company visits.
2 graded tests, solving of practical tasks.
