General description

Plastic deformation of metals. Continous deformating processes - rolling, extruding, drawing. Engineering processes, tools, equipment and products . Non-continious processes – stamping, bending, impressioon-die forging. Process mechanics, tools, equipment, production.
Molding materials, molding, casting methods, cast metals, casting defects.

General aim

The aim of course is improving students knowledge about plastic deformation of metals and casting processes, methods, tools and equipment .

Aim

Knowledge of metal forming and casting technology. Knowledge of the fundamentals of mechanical metal forming and casting technology methods and equipment and melting metallurgy.
