The objective of the course is the organisation and design of the work of railway power supply and networks, necessary in the professional work in accordance with the professional standard of a railway engineer.

Having passed the course the student:
- knows and can use the work of power supply and networks;
- can design simpler power networks;
- can manage the implementation of the power supply and networks designs.

Independent learning with the aid of computer programmes in e -learning, compilation of a course project and its defence.
