The objective of the course is the acquisition of the design of railway economy devices and work organisation in the field of rails, necessary in the professional work in accordance with the professional standard of a railway engineer.

Having passed the course the student:
- knows the requirements of the construction and maintenance of rails;
- knows and can compile the designs in the field of rails;
- can apply the devices of railway economy.
