Course contents: The notion of a project and types of projects. Objectives and tasks of projects. Project management as a management measure. Project cycle. Strategic planning. Project team and communication. Project drafting, planning of activities and resources. Beginning a project, drafting an initial task. Project budgets, investments and cost-benefit analysis. Measuring project income and costs, reporting and evaluation. Carrying out a project and its monitoring. The finishing of a project. State procurements. Requirements for EU projects.
Document and its management. Document operations. Means of document management. What is a document. File in a file system. Word document. Excel document. Document as the object of a database. Document in different types of a database. Document structure. Connections of documents. Collections of several documents. Assistant documents. Documents, connected in a process. Service life of a document. States of a document. External and internal document. Requirements for writing a document and their implementation.

The objective of the course is to introduce the basics of project management, planning and carrying out of projects as well as information technological means of document management.

Student:
- knows the basics of project management, planning and carrying out projects;
- knows the theory of document management and
- can write documents as required, using the means of information technology.
