General description

The aim of the course is to give an overview of different phases of road construction such as earth-works, embankment, top layer, base , sub-base, compiling time-schedules, using geodetic equipment.

General aim

The objective of this subject is to give knowledge of the whole construction process starting from the designing stage to the final phase of the road construction works. As well as compiling the time-schedules and mastering practical skills.

Aim

Having passed the course successfully the student is aware about the structure of the road construction works. The student is able to choose and carry out correct building technology, relevant machinery and correct paper work. The course ends with a compiling a course project.
