General description

Short Description of Content:
Introduction of the user interface of the computer programme AutoCad - menus, icon bars and a command bar. General principles of drawing - absolute, relative and polar coordinates, units, a scale. Object selection possibilities. Operation modes ORTHO and OSNAP. Moving the virtual image of a technical drawing and changing its size. Drawing possibilities - Line, Circle, Rectangle, Offset, Mirror, Chamfer, Fillet, Trim, Extend, Rotate, Arc, Move, and Copy. Inserting letters (single line text, multi-line text). Adding a measuring chain. Different drawing layers. Object properties and changing them. Entering hatching patterns on a technical drawing. MKM menu introduction and implementation in compiling technical drawings.

General aim

General Objectives:
The objective of the course is to introduce the general principles of drawing of the computer graphics programme AutoCad and main drawing possibilities. The resource files possibilities of the AutoCad (MKM menu) that is necessary for making geodetic research are introduced. Construction geodetic and as-built survey data formatting in accordance with the requirements of the procedure of making construction geodetic research (requirements of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communications).

Learning Outcomes:
Having successfully passed the course the student:
- can use the main drawing possibilities in the programme AutoCad;
- can use the MKM menu possibilities in formatting construction geodetic
research and as-built survey data.
