As practical tasks cartographic fonts are drawn technically - skeleton italics, cartographic italics and calligraphy. Various signs are dealt with; also a plan is drawn technically. The basics of colour teaching are learned and the colour solution of a plan is carried out. The existing cartographic material is analysed from the viewpoint of the used fonts and colour solution

The objective of the course is to learn the basics of designing plans and maps with the help of cartographic fonts, signs and colour teaching and practical implementation of cartographic material design

Having passed the course, the student knows the signs, can design plans and maps and can analyse the maps from the design viewpoint
