General description

Real numbers and expressions. Algebraic equations and systems of equations. Linear, quadratic and fractional equations and inequalities. Percent. Text exercises about equations and systems of equations. Vector on plane. Equation of a curve. Vector in space. Functions and their graphs. Logarithmic and exponential equations and inequalities. Trigonometric equations. Number sequence and its limit. Arithmetic and geometric progression. Limit and derivative of function. Function theoretic investigation. Finding minimum and maximum value. Geometry on plane and in space. Solid geometry.

General aim

Course gives an overview of high school mathematics curriculum and is the basis for math courses to come (linear algebra, mathematical analysis, differential and integral calculus).

Aim

Students know thoroughly high school mathematics curriculum and have acquiered all the necessary knowledge for learning other math courses (linear algebra, mathematical analysis, differential and integral calculus).

Form description

Lectures and practical assignments in the classroom, e-learning. Individual work - studying the given notes, solving exercises, preparing for tests and final test.
