General description

Interactive graphical programming using Mastercam software package. Automated G-code generatsioon. Post processors. Generated control program adjustments. The preparation and support functions, technological parameters of cutting tools and data modification. Subjects solves a variety of tasks, starting with the simple ending more than one clamping and surface machining

General aim

The aim of the course is to give students skills and knowledge about professional CAD/CAM software packages. MasterCAM.

Aim

The student who has mastered this course is able to prepare the geometry of the detail, select the 0-point of the detail, compile different operations, involve rigging, generate G-code to different machine tools. Is able to create new tools and materials to software package.

Evaluation methods

Each student must register to the e-Course. The work of the student must submit the course exercises (4 Exercise Turning, Milling Exercise 4) At the end of the subject studnet perform limited time task (1 excercise Turning, Milling Exercise 1). Each independent task represents 50% of the grade.
The substance is a specialty subject, the exam must be completed at least grade "2".
