General description

Structure of automated toolbar; nature of numerical control. Usable sensor systems and actuators. Basic notions and usage of Cutter Location Data language for preparing CNC-programs. Preparatory and auxiliary functions in designing control programs. Technological parameters and their determination. Technological zero points. Computer simulation of the prepared control program.

General aim

The aim of the course is to improve knowledge of the automation of production equipment, the elements used for it, their characteristics and the functions and structure of control systems. Introducing the sensors and signal processing. A / D and D / A signal conversion principles. Basis of preparation of the workpiece processing program.

Aim

The student knows production bases of CNC-program, is able to manually create control programs for the processing of simpler components for control system Fanuc OT and Fanuc OM, using preparatory and auxiliary functions. Production manager is able to read the control program of detail production and to outline the geometry of the detail (processed contour) and to determine the technological parameters.

Form description

Lectures (seminars), trainings, independent work, report (with the subjects of programming CNC equipment and CAD / CAM systems).
