General descriptionThe nature and history of the drapery. Specific features of fabric and paper drapery on a dummy. Pleats and complicated cuts on a dummy. Garment design on a dummy. Modelling of waistline part, skirt and sleeves. Special types of collars. Designing lingerie and corsets on a dummy.
General aimA course of the practical training module.The course aims at the preparation of students for independent creative work in creating and shaping garments. To provide theoretical and practical skills in designing and modeling of clothes on a dummy. Students develop creativity, logical thinking and the sense of style.
AimOn completion of the course the student knows how to design and model on a dummy.
