Subject 'Drawing and Painting I'Name in Estonian: Joonistamine ja maalimine I
General descriptionFundamentals of drawing: lines, geometrical bodies and round shapes. Light, shadow and reflex in drawings. The representation of drapery fabric. The representation of different textiles: silk, velvet, brocade, wool and cotton fabrics. The fundamentals of painting: surfaces, texture. Depicting of fabrics using different painting techniques: watercolor, acrylic, gouache.
General aimA course of the practical training module. The course aims at students' preparation for work in creating and shaping garments. The students' artistic sense and creative thinking is improved.
AimOn completion of the course the student is able to use the acquired knowledge of clothing design and can depict a variety of fabric textures in drawings.

Feedback from the evaluation of the students receive teacher comments. Assess the accuracy of the content of the drawing, attitude towards learning, and creative work levels. Evaluation of the premise: teaching for obligatory participation of at least 80%. Drawings 100% performance, the scores should be positive. Follow-up evaluation in accordance with the consultation periods.
