General description

Morphology and anthropology of the human body, classification and requirements to clothes, parameters of patternmaking. Body measurements and industrial sizing systems. Patterns of skirts and trousers; industrial patterns.

General aim

The aim is to give students basic knowledge about morphology and anthropology of the human body, classification and requirements to clothes, parameters of patternmaking.

Aim

On completion of the course a student knows the methodology of measuring the human body, classifies clothing items, compiles descriptions, draws patterns of skirts and trousers.

Form description

Lectures, practical training, independent work carried out by workgroups.
