General descriptionDifferent styles of clothing. The function and classification of contemporary clothing. Style and fashion. Composition of clothing. Silhouette and optical illusion. Drawing of human figure. The human head and the head details: eyes, mouth, nose, ears. Proportions of the human figure. Properties of materials. Peculiarities of designing clothes for women, men and children.
General aimA course from the DESIGN module. The course aims at students' preparation for work in creating and shaping garments. The aim is development of creative thinking and artistic sense. Improvement of students' artistic sense and creative thinking.
AimOn completion of the course the student knows how to depict a static and dynamic human and various clothing styles for women, men and children; is able to use the acquired knowledge of clothing design for creating clothing collections.
