General descriptionThe history of architecture (part II) gives an overview of the history of architecture from the early Christian time to the end of Medieval time: Early Christian architecture. Byzantine architecture. Old Russian architecture, Romanian and Gothic styles. The Estonian medieval architecture is introduced and thoroughly discussed.
General aimThe course is a link between various subjects of applied architecture which helps to acquire logical understanding and development of buildings.
AimStudent having passed the course has acquired profound knowledge of the history of architecture.
