System concept, system hierarchy, classification. General tasks of system theory. Concept of system model, abstract system model. State model and input-output model of linear time-invariant discrete-time system. Intrinsic system properties: stability, controllability, observability. Solution of system state equations, calculation of transient processes. System composition. Examples of systems.
