Change of technical condition of cars while exploited, need for maintenance. Determination of maintenance cycles and need for maintenance. Maintenance works, their order. Fault location. Organization of car service, arrangement of enterprise work. Garage equipment. General plan of a service station, location of equipment. Tools. Material consumption and calculation of the need.

The aim of the course is to provide professional knowledge about car maintenance systems and adequate technological processes and equipment, and the basis of designing service stations.

Student after completing the course knows the essence and neccessity of car maintenance systems to guarantee technical condition of cars for traffic safety; can evaluate the location of maintenance equipment in a room and volumes of maintenance works with different car models.
