Subject 'Motor Vehicle Design - Project'Name in Estonian: Mootorsõiduk - projekt
General descriptionCourse is project-based and assumes teamwork. Solving some particular design excercises, which consist analysis, choice of materials, CAD design, simulation and FEA students divide the whole project tasks among themselves where each student has a personal task. After the design phase, the designed parts will be partly or fully machined by students, assembled and tested.
General aimIt is an ongoing course to TAT119 Basics of Motor Vehicle Design. The aim is to use different car design programs.
AimStudent after completing the course can design and analyse different parts of vehicle, can use various suspension, FEA, simulation and CAD programs. Knows different manufacturing technologies. Can work in the team.

The seminars and the final presentation of the project. Participation in the seminars is obligatory. At the end of the course, the whole group defends their work to the teacher or to a panel of experts.
