*CMR convention, Law of Obligations Act about road haulage. Road haulage under custom control, TIR-system
*classification of road haulage, haulage under stipulations (transportation of perishable, transportation of dangerous goods, oversized transport e.t.c.), international conventions and national legislative acts regulating these haulages, designing the haulage routes, the presumptions and basics of operation of network of haulage routes.
*technical requirements for haulage vehicles, parameters for haulage vehicles
*legislative acts regulating drivers work and resting time (REGULATION (EC) No 561/2006 OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL)
*planning the haulage routes, drivers working time, composing the schedules,
*GPS equipment, monitoring systems

Basic knowledge of goods haulage, selection of various haulage technologies on road haulage, following the content of normative acts on road haulage.

After completing the course the student will have basic knowledge about various goods haulage technologies, he will be able to organize good haulage on roads by selecting optimal haulage vehicles and routes based on different legislative acts on vehicle haulage.

Course involves lectures and independent work. There will be a visit to transportation company involved in goods haulage in order to get an overview of the actual work of haulage manager.
