Subject 'Pre-diploma Practical Training'

The pre-diploma practical training involves collecting necessary initial data about bottlenecks or applying an additional service to solve these problems in graduation paper. The practical training may also be carried out in a research institution to collect material for solving application problems in the field of automotive engineering.

The aim of the practical training is to develop the studentŽs skill of analysing and synthesising problems in automotive field, and the skill to formulate the problem which has to be solved in the graduation thesis. After formulating the problem student has to obtain independently the necessary material. On the bases of this material student has to evaluate modifications of different solutions and find the optimum solution to the problem.

After completing the practical training student has realised the importance of collecting the necessary material. He has got engrossed in the problem set in graduation paper and is able to find necessary additional information. He is able to modify initial data and knows how to synthesise different approaches to solve the problem.

the pre-diploma practical training is recommended to carry out in te same car company that the previous practical training. It may also be carried out in a research institution to collect material for solving application problems in the field of automotive engineering.
