General description

Objectives of the technical expertise.
Assessment of the condition of the vehicle.
Assessment of the causes of vehicle components.
Assessment and reconstruction of traffic accidents.
Damaged vehicle inspection methodology.

General aim

Ability to describe the damage characteristics of the of the vehicle component.
Knowledge of the methodology for assessing the causes of damage, failure, wearing etc.
Knowledge of methodology for assessing traffic accidents.

Provide practical experience in the field of traffic accident evaluating the circumstances.

Aim

Student:
- has an overview of the nature and objectives of the technical expertise
- is able to describe the characteristics of the damaged vehicle or its damaged components.
- is able to analyse and take pictures of an accident damaged vehicle and crash site.
- is able to use main features of the car crash modelling software PC-Crash.
