General descriptionRules of making drawings. Geometrical drawing: smooth connections, division of an angle and a circle; French curves. Descriptive geometry: designing types, double and triple view, projections of a point and a line, positions of a line and a flat surface, techniques of rotation and additional designing, intersection of a body and a line, intersection of a body and a flat surface, intersections and developments of bodies. Axonometry and its types. Depicting techniques.
General aimThe aim of the course is to give knowledge about making and reading technical drawings, to give an overview of the standards, how to use them and develop skills through practical activities.
AimAfter completing the course students can make drawings and are familiar with depicting techniques; can position flat surfaces and lines, their natural shape and size; can draw projections of different sections, their axonometric images; can design developments and sections of bodies; can apply different depicting techniques for making drawings.
