General description

The rules of making technical drawings. Geometrical drawing: smooth connections, inclination and conicity, French curves. Basics of construction drawing: conventional signs, ground plans, sections and views of buildings, dimensioning, main parts of buildings. Topographical drawing: conventional signs, plans. Site plan.

General aim

The aim of the course is:
- to teach the skill of reading and making construction drawings,
- to give an overview of the standards and how to use them.

Aim

The student who has completed the course is familiar with the depicting techniques of buildings in technical drawings and knows the corresponding standards - masters drawing techniques and is able to read technical drawings and make simple technical drawings.

Lectures, practical sessions, independent work, classroom tests, preliminary examination.
