General description

ISO system of limits and fits. Geometrical tolerances: tolerances of form orientation and location, datum and datum systems. Tolerances of angles and cones. Roughness, waviness and primary profile. Limits and fits for screw threads, splines, cylindrical gears. Dimensional chains and these synthesis.
Inspection of dimensional and geometrical deviations. Callipers, micrometers, gauges, dial gauges, indicators, comparators. Cog-wheels, axels, ball-bearings. Holes and shafts. The basic hole and the basic shaft systems of fits. Testing of angles, sine table, universal protractors. Complete calculation of fits. Schematic representation if fits. Measurements in laboratory.

General aim

The aim of the course is to acquire knowledge of standardization and tolerancing, requirements of accuracy and measurement techniques.
