General descriptionMetal structures in industry and in ship building. Sorts of welding joints. Basics of strength analysis by stress and by limit conditions. Engineering design of different welding elements in stable loading conditions. Concentrations of stresses, deformations. Engineering design of welding elements in variable loading conditions. Fatigue and the methods for establishing indefatigability. The welded body, framework, shaft, wheel, drum elements. Structures from profile materials. Vessels in condition of pressure. The soldering and glue joints. The economy of materials in rational engineering design.
