General descriptionThe basics and requirements of fulfilling special processes of quality systems. The evaluation of welding process. Repair and surface welding. The basics of calculating and planning welded constructions. Guaranteeing of quality in a welding processes. Technological chart. Specials requirements for producing and testing welding joints for different devices. Welding conductors and accessories. The classification, marking and influence of welding defects for the efficiency. Destructive and non-destructive forces. Economical calculations, the expenses of material and energy. Dimensioning of welding joints, presentation of welding process. Safety precautions, ventilation, fire precautions, special methods.
General aimThe aim of the course is to widen the knowledge about welding different materials, the basics of welding production, quality system, the strength of welded joints, economical calculations of welded joints, welding devices and conductors.

Grading system: 0-50% grade 0 "fail" 51-60% grade 1 "sufficient" 61-70% grade 2 "satisfactory" 71-80% grade 3 "good" 81-90% grade 4 "very good" 91-100% grade 5 "excellent" The substance is a specialty subject, the exam must be completed at least grade "2".
