General description

The task is to solve one larger mechanical engineering problem, while choosing the materials for the elements, suitable joining, shaping and production methods. And in addition student needs to justify the choices and present it orally to the co-students and present a written report.

General aim

The goal of the course is to solve a given mechanical engineering problem. To find solution the student needs to consider: different engineering materials, production technologies and methods, analysis of materials (including strength, fatigue and other criterion).

Aim

Student knows how to design a product and its elements, choose for them suitable materials and technologies (shaping, joining, production). And in addition student know the basics of program CES Edupcak.
