General description

Electrodes for welding carbon steels, flux cored wire, powder materials. The mission and classification of fluxes. Burning gases, shielding gases and their classification, complex gases. Solders and their classification according to their melting temperature. Welding consumables of plastics. The stockpiling conditions and industrial safety of welding consumables and gases.

General aim

The aim of the course is to give knowledge about the materials used in welding process.

Aim

The student who has mastered this course knows the principles of choosing the materials used in welding and soldering and orientates in EN designations and knows the conditions of storage and transportation.
