Dielectric materials, the process of polarization. Polymers. Technoplastics. Composite materials. A compound. Cord and contact materials characterization. Characteristics of magnetic materials.

General aim

The aim of the course is to give knowledge about electrical materials, their types, characteristics and their usage. Another aim is to get to know the parameters of the electrical properties of materials and their selection. Another aim is to gain knowledge about gaseous, liquid and solid dielectric material composition, properties and the usage. As well as getting to know about usage and parameters of cord, contact materials and magnetic materials.

Aim

The student who has finished this course knows the electrical materials, mechanical, electrical, magnetic, physico-chemical and technological properties and can use these parameters. The student is able to select materials for electrical work in accordance with the conditions. The student can handle the technical manuals.
