General description

Short description of the course content. Automation of mechanical cutting operations and production transport. Hard- and softwired programming for automatic control. Conversion of control orders and information, encoding and decoding. Codes. Industrial PLC-s (programmable logic controllers). Languages of programming. Options of programming.

General aim

The aim of this course is to study the basics of automation and their applications in mechanical engineering. Examples of using PLC (programmable logic controller) to solve automation tasks.

Aim

The student who has mastered this course has an overview of the automation applications in mechanical engineering. Is able to solve automotive tasks using PLC (programmable logic controller).
