General aimThe aim of the course is to give technological knowledge about types and characteristics of metal constructions, features of technology and accuracy requirements. Technological units. Fabrication of parts, methods of their cutting-out and equipment used. Assemblage of units, final assembly of the construction and technological rigging employed. Components of conventional rigging and principles of designing special rigs. Finishing procedures and equipment used thereat. Technological documentation. Purpose and content of preproduction planning.
AimThe student who has mastered this course knows the manufacturing processes of metal structures, machine tools and rigging. Is able to take part in preproduction planning
