Business secret. Know-how and engineering information. Unfair competition. International agreements, organisations of an industrial property. Patent Office, patent library.

The objective of the course is to provide the students general knowledge about the objects of industrial property and their legal protection.

Having passed the course the student:
- can understand the essence of industrial property;
- can solve the primary problems, connected with legal protection of industrial property;
- can draw up applications for getting industrial property protection documents;
- can give special advice.

Lectures, practical writing of the applications for protection documents of an industrial property, practical work in a patent library, independent work, marked prelim.
