General description

Traffic and traffic policy in cities. Streets classification. Traffic order principles. Traffic inquiries and prognosis. Basis and basic levels of street engineering. Loads and structure safety. Horizontal- and vertical sections. Street permeability. Visibility. Crossroads. Walkways in cities. Traffic funding. Parking organising in cities. Traffics' environmental impact. City greenery.

General aim

The aim of the course is to give students basic knowledge about traffic and its order in the streets, streets planning, crossroads in the cities, parking order, traffic impact on city environment and street greenering.

Aim

Student knows about the traffic order in the cities, streets designing standards, has the ability to form solutions of traffic according to the initial data.
