General description

Mining surveyor's works at founding a mine: a layout network of marking works, shaft layout. Orientation surveys: via inclined shaft; via single vertical shaft; height transferring. Surface mining survey network, detail surveying. Mine survey plans.

General aim

The objective of the course is to give knowledge about the instruments, used at surveying mines and quarries, underground geodetic nets, underground surveys, computations, marking shafts and compiling mining geodetic maps

Aim

Having passed the course the students knows the instruments, used in mining geodesy and also surveying and computation methods. S/he can design geodetic layout nets as well as read and compile mining geodetic plans
