General description

The components, types, creation principles of geo information systems. GIS usage fields and applications. Usage of different data sources, data transformation. GIS software, data bases.

General aim

The objective of the course is to give the students knowledge about geo information systems, different types of space data; gathering, keeping, analysing, and presenting them. Practically is tried out the use of space data with the respective software

Aim

Having passed the course, the student understands different geo information systems and can use space data in different projects
