Subject 'Geosynthetics'Name in Estonian: Geosünteedid teedeehituses
General descriptionThe meaning of geosynthetic materials, historical overview, fields of use. The course contains subjects as geotextiles, geogrids, geomembranes, clay liners and their usage on construction sites.
General aimTo give students neccessary theoretical knowledge about geosynthetic materials and how they are used in road construction.
AimStudent will acquire the neccesary knowledge of the meaning of geosynthetic materials, how to use them in real life, on a construction site and knows what benefit they can bring.
