General descriptionDesign basics of public and industrial buildings -designed usable life, reliability, calculation situations, quality assurance. Loads that have an impact on buildings - dead load, live load, snow, wind. Structural schemes of buildings, buildings with rigid and articulated assemblies. Skeleton buildings, structural schemes of skeleton buildings, elements and connecting units. Large panel buildings, their operation scheme, large panel elements. Factors, having an impact on the selection of prefabricated elements. Horizontal reinforcement of buildings and guaranteeing rigidity. Line and point loads on the inserted ceiling of hollow-core slabs. Structure and fire protection of steel framework buildings.
General aimThe objective of the course is to provide the students basic knowledge about the requirements for public and industrial buildings, structural schemes and design principles.
AimHaving passed the course the student:
- knows the design principles of public and industrial buildings; - knows the mostly spread structural schemes, assemblies and elements. Form descriptionLectures 24 hours.
