Elaborating the project documentation. Performing volume calculation in accordance with the volume calculation instructions. Calculation of direct costs. Calculation of overheads of a building site and a company. Internal taxes. Profit. Compiling a tender. Writing a course project in accordance with the TTK/University of Applied Sciences instruction for writing written papers and defence in front of the lecturer.

The general objective is to provide students practical skills about the classification of building costs, carrying out volume calculation and constructional cost estimating.

The student who has passed the course:
- can in accordance with the Estonian construction costs classification standard EVS 88:2005 carry out volume calculation and cost estimating for the evaluation of the cost of general construction works of a public or industrial building.

Independent work, consultations with the lecturer.
