Subject 'Pre-diploma Practical Training'

During the course of the practical training the student:
- learns the structure and work arrangement of a building company;
- carries out the tasks of a building master or supervisor or duplicates them, in the course of which
s/he supplements the experience, gained earlier from the engineering practice;
- analyses the operation of the company and her/his activity in performing construction works,
on the basis of which compiles a report about the practical training;
- collects initial material for writing the graduation thesis.

The objective of the pre-diploma practical training is deepening the theoretical knowledge and practical skills of the students and gaining experience in performing and organising construction works in a construction company. During the pre-diploma practical training the student collects the necessary data and materials for a graduation thesis.

The student:
- resolves independently, based on the set objective, problems in the field of construction and
also analyses and evaluates different solutions;
- uses appropriate methods in collecting information and interpreting it creatively and
critically;
- is able to implement the gained knowledge and skills in the graduation thesis and work.

Practical carrying out of work assignments in a building company and independent work analysis in the free time.
