General description

Philosophical and naturalistic aspects of environmental ethics. Shaping and developing values. Nature sustainable and regulative ideas. Environmental education and training. Issue of natural self-value. Environmental ethics and ethics of sustainable society. Balance of human and nature - the principle of sustainability. Environment protection, legislation and policy. International regulative acts, environmental awareness.

General aim

The objective of the course is to introduse philosophical and naturalistic aspects of environmental ethics.

Aim

Students after completing the course know the philosophies of environmental ethics and naturalistic viewpoints; are able to give assessments to situations.

Lecture, seminars, solving of problematic situations and giving assessments.
